British Diatomists Meeting October 23rd – 25th 2009

The 2009 British diatomists meeting will be held at the Freshwater Biological Association’s laboratory beside Windermere. The weekend will follow the usual pattern of offered talks, posters, walks (or even swims!) and discussion. Saturday, and Sunday morning will be spent at the FBA. Saturday afternoon can be used for examining material, the facilities or for visiting the area. Microscopes are available at the lab. but few have phase contrast.
Accomodation is at the nearby Esthwaite Lodge YHA. Please book by the 1st October.
